Leaving New England for Old England

In a few weeks I'll step into my Narnia, my Terabithia, into the wardrobe, into the woods, to the land of the lion, the land of the kings and queens of old. Through the snow I'll trudge, from my quaint, small reality into the wider world, leaving behind the red, white, and blue of patriotism for the blue, white, and red of propriety, setting aside a shallow puddle of history for a deep sea of antiquity. And I couldn't be more ecstatic.

I'm off to Oxford, where I plan to immerse myself in scarved, bicycling, wool-and-corduroy life.

Follow me, won't you?
